Yavneh Academy Readies for 73rd Annual Dinner

Dr. Sarah Feit
Yavneh Academy will hold its 73rd annual dinner on Saturday evening, January 16, at the Marriott Glenpointe, in Teaneck. This year’s honorees are Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera, Community Service Award, and Dr. Sarah Feit, Faculty Service Award. Co-chairs for the 73rd annual dinner are Yavneh parents Moshe Weinberger, Michael Wimpfheimer and Keith Zakheim.
Mayor LaBarbiera has been a loyal and unwavering advocate for Yavneh Academy during his more than 10 years as both a councilman and mayor of the Borough of Paramus. Yavneh’s beautiful new state-of-the-art gym would not have been possible without his guidance and leadership.
Yavneh is also thrilled to honor director of special services and Yavneh alumna Dr. Sarah Feit. As the head of the learning center and inclusion program, Dr. Feit is an innovator in the field of educational special services and her path-breaking programs have enabled Yavneh to meet the specific learning needs of each of our students. Every Yavneh parent has, at one time or another, experienced her beaming smile, irrepressible energy and empathetic concern for those in need.
